The world's first competitive soccer tournament built for fans, not pros.
The Story
Every four years, billions watch the World Cup — cheering, crying, living every moment with their national team. But what if you could do more than watch? What if you could play?
The Fans World Cup was born from a simple idea: the love of soccer is not reserved for professionals. The kid who grew up idolizing Zidane. The dad who still plays Sunday league at forty. The immigrant who wears their parents' country in their heart. The college player who stopped at twenty-two but never stopped caring. These are the people who make the game what it is — and they deserve a stage.
We are building the tournament that lets everyday players — weekend warriors, rec league heroes, former college athletes, first-generation fans — step onto the pitch and compete for their homeland. Not an exhibition. Not a charity match. A real tournament, with real rules, where your country's name goes on a real trophy.
“You don't have to be a pro to feel like one. You just have to show up.”

Our Mission
Professional soccer gave us the stars. We are giving you the stage. The Fans World Cup puts real matches, real countries, and real stakes in the hands of the people who love the game the most — the fans.
Everything — from jersey design to match rules to venue layout — is shaped by player feedback. You are not a customer here. You are the reason this exists.
48 countries across six continents, with a pipeline to add more every cycle. From Brazil to Ghana to Japan to Iceland — every heritage finds a home here.
Group stage, knockout rounds, a real final. Proper officiating, live match tracking, a trophy with your country name engraved if you win it. This is not a scrimmage.
Our Values
Six commitments that guide every match, every decision, and every conversation with our community.
Every decision we make starts with our players. This tournament exists because of you — the weekend warrior, the pickup legend, the fan who never stopped believing. Your voice shapes the rules, the format, and the spirit of this competition.
Soccer is the universal language. We bring 48 countries together on one stage — heritage next to heritage, jersey next to jersey. On the pitch, differences fade. What remains is the beautiful game, the people who love it, and the countries they carry in their chest.
No tryouts. No elite clubs. No agents. If you love the game, you belong here. We have stripped away the gatekeeping that keeps regular players from ever stepping onto a national stage — age, background, and resume do not decide who gets to represent.
Competitive spirit with mutual respect. Every player, every country, every match is treated equally — real referees, real rules, real consequences. We protect the integrity of the game so the moments that happen on this pitch actually mean something.
You do not need a passport to represent. If your family is from a country, if you grew up watching that team, if that flag means something to you — that is enough. We believe identity is about connection, not paperwork.
This is not a one-off exhibition. Starting with soccer in 2026, we are building a multi-sport movement — basketball, pickleball, beach volleyball, flag football — all held every four years, forever. The Fans World Cup is here to stay.
Our Journey
From a late-night idea to a global tournament. Here is how the Fans World Cup came together — and where we are headed next.
2024
The Idea
A question sparked it all: why should only professionals get to represent their country? Over late-night calls and conversations with rec-league players across the world, the Fans World Cup took shape.
Now
Registration Open
All 48 countries are open for sign-ups. Players are claiming their country and their position. Rosters fill as the community grows, country by country.
September 2026
Kickoff
Opening ceremony in Southern California. 48 nations. 1,200 players. 14 days of competition. Real referees. Real trophies. Real glory — the first-ever World Cup where the fans play.
2027 & Beyond
The Movement Grows
Next sports added: basketball, pickleball, beach volleyball, flag football. More countries open for registration. The Fans World Cup becomes a recurring four-year cycle — the people's tournament, forever.
Why Now
Global soccer has never been more popular — and yet the distance between fans and the pitch has never been wider. Leagues are privatized. Academies start at age six. National teams pull from the same dozen clubs. The love is universal, but the access is not.
We are closing that gap. Southern California in September 2026 becomes the first stage where heritage, not contracts, decides who wears the jersey. Where a mechanic from Lagos, a teacher from Tokyo, and a student from São Paulo stand in the same tunnel — hearing the same whistle, chasing the same trophy.
The people's tournament starts here.
48 countries. 25 players per team. $200 includes jerseys. Your turn to play.
